Needs: The project DocCent builds upon key strengths of the University and its unique role in the research, science and education sectors in Bulgaria. Sofia University is the biggest higher education institution in the country, offering unparalleled range and diversity of learning with its 16 departments and over 100 fields of study. A top-ranked school in the national rating system, Sofia university consistently shows best results among Bulgarian universities in international ranking systems such as QS Top University Ranking. Investing in the development of researchers in Sofia University is therefore not only a key factor for achieving the objectives of the Operational Programme, but also a strategic step toward protecting the country's intellectual potential. The financial support of additional resources to offset the limitations of the state subsidy is essential to answer the most pressing needs for: - academic mobility - qualification - expanding the access to informational sources - better scientific visibility In this line, the project team values this call as an instrument for implementing a system of measures for advanced development of the university's research and scientific faculty. Target groups: PhD students, young scientists, students, professors Objectives: -To increase the expertise and to improve the professional qualifications of the researchers -To give new prominence to scientific and research work -To set the foundations of a sustainable model for developing graduate level programs at Sofia Uni.
