Research Project Management pilot-scale trainings for doctoral students in "Business Administration", "Economics and Management - Industry" and "Economics and Management - Tourism" PhD programmes, and creating conditions for increasing the qualification and stimulating the career development of lecturers at the International Business School

The present project proposal complies with the Specific Objective No. Four under Investment Priority No. TENii included in Priority Axis Two of the "Science and Education for Smart Growth" Operational Programme: improving the qualification of the RD staff and creating conditions for participation of young doctoral students in scientific researches. In this sense, the specific activities envisaged in the presented project are directly related to strenghtening the young generation's potential to perform RD activities through investments in research-oriented educational programmes: an expected outcome of interventions under the current Procedure according to the Terms of Application. The implementation of this project as a whole will lead to the realization of a comprehensive investment in the development and pilot testing of an educational programme which is new for the Applicant, dedicated to the RD project management and oriented toward the needs of the target group. In terms of the effect on the direct beneficiaries, this proposal will contribute to optimize the training of doctoral students at the International Business School in the field of RD project implementation and will create conditions to improve the RD-oriented skills of the lecturers directly involved with the School's accredited doctoral programmes and to their further carreer development, respectively.
