Education for tomorrow

Digitization in education is a priority of the EC. The implementation of cloud technologies in education will ensure accessibility, up-to-dateness and management of educational resources - a basis for quality education. It will contribute to solving a problem in education - the lack of nationwide universal profiles of pupils, teachers and experts in the field. A universal electronic profile for access to MES systems and the integrated platform for educational services and content will be created for users in the education process. Equipment will be purchased to implement innovative teaching and pedagogical methods. A main activity is the training of teachers to acquire new competences and digital skills. Through the means of the deployed platform, trained teachers will develop digital educational content. After evaluating its compliance with the approved MES curricula and good pedagogical practices based on established methodology, the approved content will be published on the platform for national use. Valuable online digital educational resources with open access will be explored, selected and adapted. Following MES control, the approved resources will be published on the free access platform. Students will be supported and encouraged to enhance their digital competences by participating in extracurricular activities including such for the development of STEM. To promote activities and present the results of pupils, schools will participate in inter-school / public appearances in the presence of parents and public figures. The project will create prerequisites for accelerating the integration processes of children at risk of dropping out and / or lagging behind in digital knowledge and skills and children with special educational needs, i.e. will also have a socializing effect. The need to modernize education through digitization will be supported by conducting information campaigns on the importance and common / specific benefits to society.
