Student Practices - Phase 2

The project proposal (The Project) is in accordance with laid down in the Strategy for Development of Higher Education in the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2014 - 2020 (The Strategy) measures impact and the specific recommendations of the Council of the European Union. The project implementation will contribute to the matching of demand and supply of higher education professionals and will further develop the relationship between universities and the labor market. The project is aimed directly at providing practical training of students in a real work environment, which on one hand will ensure improvement of the quality of higher education and on the other hand deepen ties of universities with the labor market. Besides the option for students to practice their profession in a real working environment, the project will contribute to the direct dialogue between education and business, between theory and practice. The project is in line with the impact measures set out in the Strategy in Thematic objective 3. "Building a sustainable and effective link between universities and the labor market and achieving dynamic correlation between demand and supply of graduates." The project continues higher education policy aimed at making the connection between education and business, started under Operational program Human Resources Development 2007-2013 with the project "Student Practices" and continued by the present Operational program project "Student Practices - Phase 1". The project "Student Practices - Phase 1" successfully undergone practical training 45 453 students in 6118 training organizations.
