This project proposal was developed jointly by the V. Levski National Military University of Veliko Tarnovo, as Leading Organization, in partnership with the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia and the associated partner the Military Technical Academy, Bucharest. The project activities planned are aimed at the 5.3 Communication and Computer Technology professional field and are based on the self-assessment results of the two partner universities using the HEInnovat tool. Within the project, the partners will develop a total of 5 joint programs, of which 4 master's and one PhD. All newly developed programs will be digitized. In addition, three of them will be developed in English for training with the associated partner. A virtual university will be created with online teaching and methodological kits, incl. online GIS educational platform, and the equipment and software necessary to enter the digital educational content will be purchased, and thus achieving effective use of innovative information technologies in the educational process. The project aims at providing trainings to improve the foreign language and digital skills of teachers, incl. skills to work with innovative ICT-based educational technologies, as well as outward mobility and short-term specializations with the associated partner, the results of which will be multiplied by sharing teachers between NMU and St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia. To create an effective connection between the higher education schools and the labor market and to achieve an adequate correspondence between the supply and demand of specialists with a higher education degree, the project partners will build a career center and a system for monitoring the career development of graduates. It is also planned to organize career exchanges and accelerators, as well as additional courses for students aimed at acquiring entrepreneurial skills and social competencies.
