Innovative education in the humanities and social sciences through digital transformation and modernization of the curricula at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Southwestern University "Neofit Rilski" and the Technical University of Gabrovo in partner in Gabrovo with foreign universities from Greece, Poland and Romania.

The project proposal envisages the elaboration of innovative interdisciplinary curricula that will lead to advanced training of students and lecturers in higher education - partners: Veliko Tarnovo University "St. St. Cyril and Methodius", Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", Southwestern "Neofit Rilski" and the Technical University in Gabrovo. The planned activities include: 1.1. Development of the following five joint curricula in in Master's Degree: Professional field (PF) 2.1. Philology- "Digital Culture: Language, Literature, Communication"; PF 2.2.History and archeology- "New and contemporary Bulgarian history: problems, models, methodology"; - "History and culture of the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean in late antiquity and the Middle Ages"; PF 3.5.Public communications and information sciences - "Digital Communications and Media" in the Master's Degree ; PF 3.4. Social activities- "Social innovations and social policies" . During the project period 5 digital-based programs, as well as 1 joint foreign-language curricula with the associated partners will be introduced in partnership with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan (Poland) and the University of Pitesti (Romania), which will contribute to their high quality and international validity. 2. Professional development and improved language and digital skills of academic staff through specialized training for , short-term mobility in foreign partners. 3. Mobility, soft skills training, career guidance, as well as the development of a system for alumni career monitoring and of a common information network of career centers. This will improve the cooperation between the education sector and business by ensuring a dynamic match between the supply and demand of specialists in the transport sector. The total value of the project eligible costs is BGN 4 175 484,34 , financed under the "no aid" regime. The planned project duration is 30 months.
