NAM “Prof. P. Vladigerov” is a leading national institution in the field of classical music education, offering a wide range of specialties - performing, theoretical, music-technological and pedagogical, divided into two professional areas 8.3. “Music and dance art” and 1.3. "Pedagogy of teaching...". The specifics of the educational process at the Academy require a careful and creative approach to the modernization of the educational process and the introduction of new technologies, which will allow the preservation of the classical musical tradition and the methods for its transmission through the generations. The project is based on a partnership with the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts (AMDFA) in Plovdiv, with which the NAM shares common specifics and professional areas, with differently developed professional expertise, which can become a factor for lasting cooperation and exchange of creative resources. The project proposal includes activities for development and introduction of joint programs with issuance of joint diplomas by the partner academies, as well as for development and introduction of programs with digital content, which will supplement and expand the range of specialties in NAM and AMDFA and will introduce a new competency model, tailored to the needs of the labor market. For the purposes of the project, trainings for teachers are provided, as well as mobility for training and teaching, which will increase the capacity of the academic staff and will allow them to work in the new digital environment. The training of students and doctoral students, together with the planned career guidance activities, will help to improve the professional skills of young people and will support their work integration in the future.
