With small steps to a successful start

The project proposal "With small steps to a successful start" aims creating conditions to support pre-school education to 155 children from 4 kindergartens of Nikopol municipality with a predominant amount of children of Turkish ethnicity. By accomplishing the planned activities : additional classes in Bulgarian language, improving the educational environment in the kindergartens, joint activities promoting interaction between children of different ethnic groups, "School for Parents" preservation and development of cultural identity and joint appearances of children and parents , is created an opportunity to improve the learning environment to motivate children and their parents to participate in the educational process , for some children it will help them to reach the state educational requirements , which is a precondition for reducing the amount of child who dropout early from the education system. The results will be seen in: better use of Bulgarian language from children whose mother language is not Bulgarian, an equal access to quality education, shaping a tolerant attitude and improving communication between children, parents and teachers; reinforce motivation for inclusion in the educational process by improving the educational environment in kindergartens; acquiring new knowledge and skills by the parents to nurture and care for their children and encouraging them to participate in the educational process. The achieved results will contribute to achieving the goals set out in Operational Programme Science and Education for Smart Growth and the specific procedure. The project realization will contribute to supporting preschool education and coaching, ensuring the rights of an equal access to quality education for children among ethnic minorities in modern educational environment, for the implementation measures from the Programme for Educational Integration of Children and students from ethnic minorities in the municipality of Nikopol for 2014-2020
