Before school

The ""Before school" OP "Science and education for smart growth 'has been prepared under the scheme: BG05M20P001-3.001. The project activities will be implemented on the territory of Bulgaria, Sofia region, Samokov Municipality. The project duration is 12 months. The main objective of the project is to help children from ethnic minorities to build as full citizens and to achieve a successful professional, social and personal realization. The project is aimed at the inclusion and integration of children from ethnic minorities in the one kindergarten located in the municipality of Samokov. The main activities are: Activity 1: Organization and management of the project; Activity 2: Additional training in Bulgarian language for children for whom Bulgarian is not their mother tongue; Activity 3: Activities aimed at preserving and developing the cultural identity of ethnic minority children and their peers integration in multicultural environment; Activity 4: Working with parents from vulnerable families / families in a disadvantageous situation of ethnic minorities or those seeking or enjoying international protection that prevent children subject to compulsory pre-school education by regularly attending kindergarten; Activity 5: Working with parents without distinction of ethnic origin her to explain the benefits of educational integration and acceptance of diversity; Activity 6: Provision of information and publicity for the project. Through these activities will be achieved planned results: integration of children from ethnic minorities in pre-school education. Description of the target group: Representatives of the target group in the project are 110 number of children from ethnic minorities and 40 pieces parents. The total cost of the project is 138 560,00 lev.
