My kindergarten - my favorite place

The main objective of the project proposal is to contribute to achieving sustainable results in the educational integration of children from ethnic minorities by improving conditions and attractiveness of childcare in the municipality of Sevlievo. The aim is related to solving one of the most significant problems of the municipality, namely changing negative attitudes towards ethnic groups, presence of children not covered by the educational system and prematurely leaving or dropping out children from ethnic minorities. The project will include 150 children from ethnic minorities and marginalized groups of kindergarten "Joy" in the town. Sevlievo and Kindergarten "Mecho Puh" Village of Petko Slaveykov and affiliate village of Dushevo. Parents identified as target groups of the project are 100 representatives of ethnic minorities and / or marginalized groups. Project activities: 1)Training of parents in the successful models of educational support for children from ethnic minorities; 2) Equipment of "Multipurpose rooms" in schools; 3) Amusing educational workshops; 4) Develop and adopt a municipal program and annual action plan in line with the regional strategy to integrate the Roma, or municipal programs for educational integration of children and students from ethnic minorities; 5) Information and publicity of the project; 6) Organization and management of the project. The main results: - The interaction of all related to the integration of children from ethnic minorities - parents, teachers, community and NGO has long-term trends for the community in the municipality of Sevlievo; - Inclusion of parents in activities to ensure the sustainability of the project; - Providing "multipurpose room" in partner kindergarten, which will continue to exist and be used after the project.
