Integration measures for increasing of school preparedness of the children in Gabrovo municipality

The project proposal has the goal to support the successful inclusion in the educational system of the children of the ethnical minorities and/or the marginalized groups, through various approaches and measures. The specific goals are directed to equal inclusion of all the children in the preschool groups, to education in tolerance, understanding and acceptance, parents’ inclusion in the educational process and modelling of the public attitude. For achieving of these goals, Gabrovo Municipality will have to work for 29 months in partnership with kindergarten “Ran Bosilek” and Center of interethnic dialogue and tolerance “Amalipe”. The activities that are to be realized, besides those intrinsic to any project – management and publicity, are: - Improved educational environment with the participation of outer institutions – specialized, adapted and interactive work will be conducted by regional historical museum, regional library “Aprilov Palauzov” and directorate “National park central Balkan” – Gabrovo; - improved school preparedness through education in Bulgarian language - classes will be conducted with the children who have impediments using Bulgarian and whose level of usage of the language inhibits their communication; - knowing, preserving and developing of the cultural identity – knowing the ethnical diversity, education in dances and theatre for provoking of the talents and development of the creative endowments of the children; - work with parents and families for improvement the educational process inclusion – creation of a date-base about the families form the ethnical minorities, group and individual work with parents, “parents’ class” - common performances between children form different ethnical groups – thematic excursions, thematic quizzes and municipal festival of the tolerance; - forming of public attitudes – campaigns for influence upon the parent’ community, forum.
