ALTHOUGH DIFFERENT, WE ARE ALL TOGETHER ON OUR WAY TO SCHOOL

The candidate is Kindergarten Chuchuliga – Ruse. Partners of the project – Ruse Municipality and Foundation “Sustainable Society”. Target group of the project are 60 children, disadvantaged and from ethnic minorities from the Kindergarten. The general objective of the project is providing conditions for sustainable educational integration and socialisation of disadvantaged children and from marginalised groups, 3-6 years old in Ruse. The specific objectives are: 1. Creating conditions for sustainable educational integration through providing modern interactive didactical base in the Kindergarten; 2. Educational and cultural integration of 60 children from Kindergarten - disadvantaged and from marginalised groups, 3-6 years old. 3. Forming parental capacity for supporting the development and integration of disadvantaged children and children from ethnic minorities in the community as a risk prevention of dropping out of the educational system and social isolation. The main activities for influencing the target group, aimed at achieving the specific objectives and sustainability of the project results include: improving the educational environment – providing modern interactive didactical base in Kindergarten for working in multicultural environment; preparing 60 children from the Kindergarten for future inclusion in the educational process – individual work with children, disadvantaged and from marginalised groups, support of children in preschool age for equal start in first grade; social inclusion of the children from the target group through multicultural training; increasing the parental capacity by including the parents in the project activities for integration of the children in the community. The indicator for product is 22 children from ethnic minorities (including Roma), participating in the project, and the indicator for result – 18 of them to be integrated into the educational system.
