Different and together, we play, learn and create

The project’s general goal is to increase the effectiveness of work on the coverage and integration of children in a disadvantaged position and from ethnical minorities, in the kindergartens and preschool preparation groups on the territory of Goce Delchev municipality. Specific goals: - Improvement of the educational environment and quality of preschool preparation in kindergartens, by introducing additional Bulgarian language education and attractive activities on interests, to cultivation of the children’s creative potential. - Increase of the parents’ capacity for upbringing and educating their children and strengthening their motivation to participate in the educational process in kindergartens. The project covers the folling target groups: - 100 children of preschool age and in a disadvantaged position (including from ethnical minorities) - 42 parents from families in a disadvantaged situation and from ethnical minorities, who prevent their children’s regular kindergarten visits The project’s goals will be achieved by implementing following general actions, linked to the target groups: - Additional Bulgarian language education for children with a different birth language - Improvement of the educational environment in kindergartens, in which children from ethnical minorities are educated integrally, with the goal of increasing the quality of education and the improving of its results - Activities, directed to the conservation and development of a cultural identity for children from ethnical minorities and their peers in an integrative multicultural environment. - Work with parents from families in a disadvantaged situation from ethnical minorities, who prevent their children, subject to mandatory preschool preparation, from regular kindergarten visits. - Work with parents without relation to their ethnical origin to clarify the value of educational integration and the acceptance of differences.
