Give a hand - gift a future

Project "Give a hand - gift a future" aims effective educational integration of children of Tsarevo Municipality originating from minority ethnic communities and disadvantaged families by creating conditions for access to preschool and equal start in entering the education system. The main target group of this project proposal are Roma children, children from disadvantaged families and parents. Project activities will cover 79 children from Kindergarten Alen Mak, Tsarevo and 58 children from Kindergarten Dolphin, Ahtopol. The team has set itself the ambitious task to attract active participation in the activities and parents and for the purpose of training is provided 2 training mediators from the Roma community. They will support families to improve communication between parents and educators in kindergartens, overcoming conflict, will motivate and encourage families whose children do not attend regular kindergarten, to recognize their children's education of value and perspective for better future. To overcome the backlog of children whose native language is not official, and to prevent early dropping out of the education system we are planning additional activities in Bulgarian language.There are activities with a cultural and educational nature for the development of cognitive and social skills of children to support their integration in the infant group. Participation of children in folklore and theater ensembles aims to preserve their ethnic identity on the one hand and on the other the discovery of different cultures to instill in them tolerance of differences. Sports activities will develop in children a competitive spirit and a sense of teamwork. Improving the school environment and conditions in kindergartens by providing interactive and innovative tools and training aids for children will contribute to creating favorable conditions for training and comfort. Public appearances of children will help change stereotypes in society.
