Support for pre-school education of disadvantaged children in the municipality of Dryanovo

The project proposal "Support for pre-school education of disadvantaged children in the municipality of Dryanovo" is directed to 200 children from Kindergarten "Clover" in age from 3 to 7 years, 47 of which are of Roma and Turkish origin; the children's parents and all other interested parties. The project proposal includes the following activities: Improving the educational environment in kindergartens and preparatory groups; Activities aimed at preserving and developing the cultural identity of ethnic minority children and their peers integration in multicultural environment; Working with families from ethnic minorities; Overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic and cultural identity. As a result of the implementation of the project activities are expected to achieve the following results: - Improved conditions for equal access to pre-school education; -additional activities with children for whom Bulgarian is not their mother tongue to master the official language before entering first grade; - Increased quality of education in kindergartens and preparatory groups, to their educational integration; - Mutual understanding of children from different ethnic groups and their upbringing in a spirit of tolerance; - Involve parents in the educational process; - Created conditions for successful socialization of children from ethnic minorities and / or marginalized groups and families seeking or enjoying international protection; - Increased motivation of children and parents to participate in the educational process (entering first grade); - Overcome negative public attitudes based on ethnic origin.
