From early childhood development to educational integration

The project addresses the need for the implementation of specific measures at local level dedicated to solve the problems in the early educational integration, which don't enable the "equal start" of marginalized children. The lack of pre-school education and training for children from poor families and minorities group are a factor which affects the mental development and reduces their chances for success in school and life. The implementation of the project will meet these needs and will allow the application of specific measures for educational integration, preparation for school. It will provide support for early development and education to the children from minorities group aged between 4 and 6 years in 4 kindergartens on the territory of Byala Slatina municipality. The project implementation will provide better opportunities and create favorable conditions for educational activities in multicultural environment. The target groups of the project are children from ethnic minorities and marginalized groups and their parents. The planned project activities are: Project management; Preparation for equal start in school; Festivals and joint events; Improving the educational environment in kindergartens; Preservation and development of cultural identity of children of ethnic minorities group; Encouraging the participation of parents in the educational process; Work with vulnerable families group; Information and publicity. The expected results of the project are: - Improved conditions for equal access to pre-school education of children; - Improved language skills in children who speak different from the Bulgarian language; - Created conditions for implementing a municipal policy for educational integration of children from ethnic minorities; - Increased motivation of parents;
