"Education - a key part of the integration"

The project "Education - a key part of the integration" OP "Science and education for smart growth" has been prepared under the scheme: BG05M20P001-3.002. The project activities will be implemented on the territory of Bulgaria, Sofia region, Botevgrad Municipality. The project duration is 24 months. The main objective of the project is to help students from ethnic minorities to build as full citizens and to achieve a successful professional, social and creative development. The project is aimed at the inclusion and integration of students from ethnic minorities in the number seven schools located in the municipality of Botevgrad. The main activities are: Activity 1: Organization and management of the project; Activity 2: Additional Bulgarian language training for students for whom the Bulgarian language is not their mother; Activity 3: Activities aimed at preserving and developing the cultural identity of ethnic minority students and their peers integration in multicultural environment; Activity 4: Support of students from ethnic minorities to continue their education in high school and successful completion of secondary education; Activity 5: Working with parents from ethnic minorities and / or parents seeking or enjoying international protection that prevent children from regularly attending school; Activity 6: Working with parents without distinction of ethnic origin her to explain the benefits of educational integration and acceptance of diversity; Activity 7: Overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic and cultural identity; Activity 8: Provision of information and publicity for the project. Through these activities will be achieved planned results: integration of students from ethnic minorities in the educational system. Description of the target group: Representatives of the target group in the project are 500 number of students from ethnic minorities and 80 number of parents. The total cost of the project is 901 952,00 lev.
