Support educational integration of roma groups in primary school 'Hristo Botev', Galabnik, primary school 'Ivan Vazov', Izvor and high school 'Hristo Botev', Dren, Radomir municipality

The main objective of the project proposal is to assist the students from the ethnic minorities (Roma), to build as valuable citizens and to achieve a successful professional, social and creative development. The project identifies the problems and needs of the target group to which it is directed, as its implementation is subject to the following basic principles: identify the individual learning needs of the target group and work with them; intercultural education, interaction between education, family and institutional environment; providing opportunities for physical, social and personal development of students in the target group and their peers from the majority. The project will include 160 children from three schools, including Roma children (100), disadvantaged children and children of Bulgarian ethnic origin in order to achieve the integrity impact of its implementation. The project includes activities in additional training in Bulgarian language; improving the educational environment and material-technical base in order to improve the quality of school training; activities aimed at preservation and development of cultural identity of students in the target group; involvement of parents in the educational process and creating positive attitudes towards multicultural education and educational integration as also and publicity and visualization activities and project management. Active participation in the project will take and about 100 parents.
