"Working together to learn and work"

The project "Together to learn and create" aims to support students from roma origin in Bolyarovo municipality to develope themselves as whole citizens and to achieve a successful professional, social and creative development.There will be undertaken complex of appropriate measures leading to real, successful and sustainable educational integration of roma students and their permanent retention in school. We plan to work actively with students and their parents for their permanent integration into the educational process, to improve the educational environment through the purchase of additional sport, educational and other supplies, materials, development and implementation of policies, preserving and developing the cultural identity of students from roma origin in an integration in a multicultural environment, overcoming negative public attitudes based on ethnic and cultural backgrounds.Methodological decision of the project is related to the adoption of the values ​​of intercultural education, understood as a movement in school to obtain information about the merger of cultures, the formation of respect and harmony to create a situation in which all children will feel patronized, respected and identified with their own identity and culture.The main results of project implementation are 215 students from the roma origin integrated into the educational system and 63 students who are not representatives of ethnic minority groups engaged in different measures for educational integration. The target groups of the project are 278 students from the II-nd to XII-th grade, aged 8 to 18, from which 215 from roman origin and 63 non-representatives of minority groups and their parents. The project will be implemented in the school "Dr Petar Beron", town of Boliarovo and in school "Stefan Karadja", vil.of Stefan Karadzhovo for 24 months. The project will be managed by the team of: manager, koordinator, mediator and accountant. The total project cost is 354,244 levs in VAT.
