"Friendship"

The project proposals "Friendship" will be implemented by Association „Resource Center for European cooperation“ in partnership with the municipality of Pazardzhik and two schools - PRIMARY SCHOOL "G. S. Rakovski" and SECONDARY SCHOOL "Hr.Smirnenski" The main objective of the project is to help students from ethnic minorities from the partner schools of the town of Pazardzhik to build as full citizens and achieve personal, professional and social success and creative development. The planned activities include: Additional Bulgarian language training for students for whom the Bulgarian is not their mother tongue; Providing appropriate educational environment for the inclusion of Roma students; Activities aimed at preserving and developing the cultural identity of ethnic minority students and their peers integration in multicultural environment; Working with parents and encourage their participation in the educational process; Support of students from ethnic minorities to continue their education in high school and successful completion of secondary education; The target group includes: • Students from ethnic minorities; • Parents; The results we want to achieve through the implementation of the project: • Understanding of the material through additional activities with students from ethnic minorities; • Tolerance among different ethnic communities at the local level; • Motivated students and parents to participate in the educational process; • Improved conditions for equal access to education and training; • Formed practical skills and the development of personal, professional, social and creative realization of the project included in the target group; • Improving the quality of education, by creating conditions for successful socialization of students from ethnic minorities;
