European horizons for etno-cultural tolerance

The project aims to deal with students of ethnical minorities: - to guarantee the right of equal success to a quality education and learning of Bulgarian for a successful integration; - to develop of intercultural education for preserving and developing of students cultural identity; - to involve parents to overcome the negativity about school and turn it into a desireable area. After the formation of the team some activities will be done that had been considered in comply with the needs and gifts of students leading to achieving the aims of the completion procedure. In order to provide an equal beginning of the children of ethnical minorities a club “Little Pencil” will be made in which kids from 1st. grade will be included for whom Bulgarian is not a mother language. The second club “Know-all” is for the students who fall behind with the school material on a certain subject. The final stage of the training Summer Academy and Green School will result to social involvement and getting closer with their classmates of the same age from other areas. For keeping and developing of cultural identity of students clubs ”Sparkles on the Hearth” and “Ethnical rythms” will be formed. Under the motto “Different but together“ the initiative “Day of Tolerance“ will be held. School trips will contribute to get know the rich folklore world of ethnos and its contribution to the common national culture. In order to realize the necessities of quality education, good sociability and realization of children “Parents club “ will be made. The shortest way of overcoming the distance student-parent is the participation in joint activities (holding of trainings). Thus through the activities will be made an efficiency model of cooperation student-parent-teacher for bringing up ethnical tolerance and achieving of quality education.
