We live, learn, succeed together

Implementing partners of the project “We live, learn, succeed together” are Municipality of Shumen, a public-benefit nonprofit ass. “Sava Dobroplodny” and Educational Cooperation Foundation. Objectives of the project are to help students from ethnic minorities to achieve successfully social and professional integration through such activities as extracurricular activities in different subjects with slow-learners, activities leading to creation of positive learning environment, 13 club organized activities developing cultural awareness and sense of cultural identity in multicultural environment, providing psychological help for slow-learners from ethnic minorities in order to finish successfully their education, providing free school books and educational resources for students from ethnic minorities, teaching parents to encourage their children to accept differences in coaching method in accordance with the strategy of “Science and Education for Smart Growth” Operating Programme where it is stated: “Increasing the number of successfully integrated students from ethnic minorities including Romani with the help of educational system.” The target group consists of 265 students from 7 to 19 years old including 30 Romani people, 130 Turks and 5 people from other ethnic minoritiesand 600 parents. In the process of current project activities implementation students’ motivation will be improved, they will become socially engaged; they will learn how to accept other people’s differences and how to communicate more effectively, they will develop better performance skills, their knowledge In Bulgarian will be enriched, preconditions for successful professional and social integration will be made. The project activities provide opportunities for improving and enriching the achieved results of the three projects –two of them financed by the ESF and one financed by the CEICSEM, projects successfully implemented by Sava Dobroplodny Secondary School as leading organization.
