"Legacy of Khan Kubrat today"

The project aims to create conditions for successful educational integration of students who are ethnic minorities by organizing various joint activities - motivational training; providing access to innovative education; organizing training sessions with parents and encourage their participation in the educational process. During the project, students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of different cultures with the idea to learn to be tolerant of all ethnicities. The project will include students from classes 7-12 in High School "Chernorizets Hraber", Plovdiv to overcome negative attitudes based on ethnic origin. This project builds on the approved plan and program to prevent dropouts. The project will allow equal access for all students through inclusive education to innovative learning. The attitudes of students of 7-8 classes and their parents will be explored in continuing education in high school. A motivational training outside Plovdiv with the target group will be organized to rally the relationship between Bulgarians and ethnic minorities, understanding and developing tolerance of differences. A discussion forum will be organized with the participation of teachers, local authorities, roma organizations and NGOs, as well as training for parents on the importance of education for success in life and career development. There will be information campaigns to raise awareness of project activities, as well as organizing mass events with the participation of the target group.
