"Wind of change" - tolerance and support to ensure equality and successful socialization

The project aims to help students from Roma population of Razlog Municipality to achieve a successful professional, social and creative development. Inclusion in the community at an early age is very important, so the project is aimed at the integration of students from elementary school and will perform additional activities in a multicultural environment with children from I to IV grade of primary school "Sv. Sv. Ciril i Metodiy" - Razlog and "Sv. Paisiy Hilendarski" - Banya. Children who will be enrolled in the project are 272 and 139 of them are Roma. The main goal of the project is social and economic integration and will be achieved through planned activities. The project is intended to provide conditions, activities, services and resources for learning Bulgarian language. Students who have problems with using Bulgarian language appropriately will have extra curricular activities. The project provided activities that develop knowledge, skills and competencies in students - applied arts, histrionics, sports, studying folklore. The aim is promotion of intercultural education and the transformation of cultural diversity into a source of mutual acquaintance and spiritual development of children. The project includes career counseling to students in order to awareness the importance of education for a successful start in life. There are activities aimed at working with parents to explain the benefits of educational integration and negatives of preventing children from regularly attending school, to achieve complete socialization. Objectives and activities of the project are consistent with long-term priorities of the strategy "Europe 2020" and the investment priority under the "Science and education for smart growth" 2014-2020. Expected results corespond to 2007-2013 programming period and to the updated action plan of the Municipality of Razlog.
