CHILDREN OF BRACIGOVO - ETHNICITY DIFFERENT BUT THE SAME IN DREAMS

The project aims to help students in Bratsigovo municipality derived from the minority to build as full citizens and achieve successful professional and social realization. Complete socialization begins at an early age, so that one focus of the project is aimed at primary pupils learning. Another focus is turned to the upper course and is aimed at prevention of dropping out of the educational system of students. The scope of the project provides additional activities in a multicultural environment with children from class I to IV of NU Vasil Petleshkov and V to XII class of Folk School Leaders. The total number of children included in the project is 174 of which 135 are Roma, of which 60 boys and 75 girls. The project is intended to provide conditions, activities, services and resources for learning Bulgarian language, through additional training of students with problems using the literary Bulgarian language. Are provided activities extracurricular activities to develop additional skills and competencies in students - fine arts, theater, sports, ethnography and computer literacy. The project includes career guidance activities for pupils to learn to develop their skills for planning the educational and personal time, career development, overcoming the typical errors associated with the choice of education and profession and others. There are activities aimed at working with parents to explain the benefits of educational integration negatives of preventing children from regularly attending school and overcoming negative public attitudes. The goals and activities of the project are consistent with long-term priorities of the strategy "Europe 2020" and the investment priority under the "Science and education for smart growth" from 2014 to 2020. Expected results build circuits from 2007-2013 programming period and the corresponding Action Plan Bratsigovo Municipality.
