"Communication without Borders"

The project "Communication without Borders" offers focused integrated educational approach to students from ethnic minorities,including Roma to overcome their negative attitudes toward school education and training. Its main objective is the prevention of dropping out of education and creating conditions for social realization and integration of pupils from ethnic minorities, including Roma by improving conditions for equal access to education and training.The project proposal will be implemented in partnership between: Association of public utility "Association for the Protection of birds - Via Pontica", "Vasil Levski" Primary school, "Konstantin Arabadziev" Secondary school and the Municipality of Varna. In the project activities included a total of 480 participants (pupils and their parents) of which 40.42% of ethnic minorities (Roma, ethnic Turks and others).Activities are selected so as to ensure appropriate conditions for developing the potential of every student by expanding extracurricular activities and providing opportunities for full social integration of children of different ethnicities. The activities of the project are in different fields of social science, sports,Arts and biological education, theater (Puppet theater and drama) additional training in Bulgarian language, sports, computer training, teaching students in school mediation, psychological trainings. Besides the usual activities in a school environment there are provided lessons outdoor,excursions,games and entertainment in public places such as a library,community center, botanical gardens,nature reserves,playgrounds.The idea is learning and socialization through discovery and entertainment by carnival activities. It is also recognized that parents are the major factor for early dropout from the education system dnd the focus is placed of the social work with them. In the project proposal are included more: activities in organization and management and business publicity and visualization.
