"Horizons" - through educational integration to complete socialization in small settlements of rural type

Project "Horizons" - through educational integration to complete socialization in small settlements of rural type "is planned to be realized within the educational infrastructure of the municipality" Tunja. "He foresees a partnership between local government, all 10 schools, of which 2 elementary, 7 main focal, a secondary one, also with the gathering character and NGO sector in the face of Association "TSOPSI." The project is structured so as to ensure equal access to the planned activities and initiatives across the school network. Typical project that will be implemented in settlements entirely from the countryside, which justifies the choice of - specific approach that ensures equal access to activities and resources with the gathering nature. The main objective of the project is to support students from small rural settlements type incorporated into a municipality "Tunja" and from ethnic minorities to build as full citizens and achieve successful professional, social and creative realization through implementation of new initiatives and the introduction of innovative approaches within the municipal educational infrastructure and encouraging parent participation. Project activities include: organization and management; Information and publicity; Additional classes in Bulgarian language for students for whom the Bulgarian language is not their mother; Additional activities with the risk of dropping students from ethnic minorities; Improving the educational environment; Providing psychological support; Encouraging the involvement of parents in school life by applying a model of parental involvement. The project will contribute to sustainable development and upgrading of educational policies in the municipality "Tunja" by introducing effective integration mechanisms. Will improve the educational environment in all 10 municipal schools. They will be covered in the activities of at least 460 students of Roma origin.
