The project builds on the completed project "New chance for success", financed by the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development (2007 - 2013)". The main activity of the project is to facilitate further access to general education and vocational training and thus to facilitate participation on the labour market. The project contributes to achieving the objectives of the Operational Programme "Science and Education for Smart Growth" and Priority 3 "Learning environment for active social inclusion." The project activities will create conditions for the development of the system of lifelong learning and will have a positive effect on the future career of the students. Planned project activities are also aimed at building a system of knowledge and skills which are necessary for continuing education as well as for subsequent inclusion in training for acquiring qualifications for certain professions. The main activity will be related to giving organizational and methodological support to the learning process. Project activities are related to organizing and conducting literacy courses and courses for acquiring educational content for different educational levels, as well as to providing opportunities for organizing distance learning. Acquiring key competences is a chance for poorly literate persons to leave the risk group and join the labour market. The project objectives will also be achieved through certification of successfully completed training. By promoting the need to enhance and foster literacy and by raising awareness of the benefits of improving literacy, the project will contribute to coping with the social challenges which arise as a result of global economic processes.
