"We study and create together"

The project proposal fully corresponds with the general and specific objectives of the Programme, and in particular the current grant procedure: BG05M20P001-3.006, announced by LAG Svilengrad Areal. The project "We study and create together" will be implemented by Svilengrad Municipality in partnership with the Football Club "Euroroma", the Football Club "Svilengrad 1921" and "SPORT CLUB ISIDA - SVILENGRAD". The project is aimed at overcoming the problem of integration in the educational system of pre-school children from marginalized groups, including Roma. The activities we envisage are aimed at helping children from ethnic minorities to become full citizens, achieve social and educational integration, creative realization, as well as to overcome prejudices and discriminatory attitudes of the population. The activities envisaged in the project proposal are related to the promotion of communication between children from different ethnic groups through joint educational activities, holding joint events, on different holidays, at sporting events. We plan to spend holidays related to the Bulgarian language, to organize a concert and an exhibition. Preservation and development of cultural identity through extracurricular activities, creation of a football and dance group; Organizing and conducting educational camps designed to reflect children's leisure in an environment conducive to overcoming negative social attitudes. The target group includes about 500 children and young people from the municipality, of whom 72 are children from marginalized groups, including Roma. As a result of the implementation of the project, conditions will be created for successful educational integration of children from different ethnicities in the Svilengrad municipality through mutual recognition, improving access to quality education and increasing the motivation to participate in the educational process.
