My roots and my future

Objective: To improve access to quality education, to promote the social and educational integration of students from marginalized groups at secondary school V. Levski; to reduce the share of early school leavers and to increase the educational status as a sustainable tendency on the territory of the community in Glavinitsa Municipality. Innovative integration activities are envisaged, and by implementing an integrated prevention approach, over 50% of the students and their parents are included in the project incl. students from marginalized groups. The results of the activities represent a new sustainable model of social inclusion and integration through engagement of students, teachers, parents and the community that will continue after the project. A coalition was formed by sec. school V. LEVSKI and the Municipality of Glavinitsa, in accordance with the Agreement. Target groups - 100 students and their parents from the marginalized groups. 120 classmates are included. The project: - Develop services to integrate students from marginalized groups into the educational process, in order to reduce the dropout rate and increase educational status as a sustainable trend; - Prevents aggressive behavior through school resources and develops new extracurricular activities. - Develops additional knowledge and skills in teachers for the prevention of aggression and dropping out of education through innovative extracurricular activities in interest clubs, additional training sessions, implementation of good practices for working in a multicultural environment. - Provides services for the prevention of early school leaving by actively working with students from marginalized groups and their families; through joint activities with children and parents from marginalized groups and their classmates to overcome the negative stereotypes. - Engages the entire community through joint activities for tolerance and support instead of social exclusion. Duration - 24 months.
