The population structure in the municipality of Glavinitsa is multi-ethnic and is divided into three groups - Bulgarian, Turkish and Roma. "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" kindergarten is visited by children from all three ethnic groups, as well as children from mixed marriages. The educational process is carried out in ethnically mixed groups. The project will ensure equal access to quality education for all children, regardless of their social status, religion or ethnicity. Within the framework of the activities, new approaches and forms of work will be developed and implemented in order to overcome the problems and causes that create difficulties in inclusion, leading to overcoming the following identified deficits in children whose mother language is not Bulgarian: -poor command of the Bulgarian language and, as a consequence, difficult adaptation in kindergarten and subsequently in school; -insufficient communication between children from different ethnic groups; -insufficient social and cognitive skills; -difficulties in pre-school preparation; -lack of self-confidence in ethnic minority children; -negative attitudes due to ignorance of different ethnicities and their typical lifestyle, traditions, holidays, customs and crafts; In response to the problems within the project and through the set activities, a working model for successful socialization of children from different ethnicities will be created, forming an appropriate socio-psychological climate by preserving and developing their cultural identity, transforming ethno-cultural diversity into a source of mutual recognition. , respect and cooperation in a common educational environment, protecting the environment by planting a forest. With the help of the whole community, with emphasis the parents of the children in the target group will create conditions for ethnic understanding, reducing negative attitudes and increasing the desire for joint activities.
