"Kids, teachers and parents together for a better future in Tryavna"

This project is a result of the efforts of Svetlina Kindergarten in Tryavna to support the kids and their families and foster the development of active citizenship, creativity and successful professional and social realization of kids in their home town. The project will contribute to increasing the number of kids from marginalized groups who have been successfully integrated through the educational system by provoking their interest and involvement in activities related to music, arts, games, dances, sports, cooperation and empathy building activities, and by involvement of parents in non-formal and game-based trainings and events. The proposal targets 90 kids and their families, 20 of which from marginalized groups. The kids are aged between 3 and 7. The proposal will enhance the access to quality education of kids from small and remote communities in the municipality of Tryavna as a guarantee for their successful integration. Project activities: - Administrative management, information and publicity - Clubs of interest - joint activities for kids from both marginalized and non-marginalized groups - Work with parents of kids from marginalized groups and joint activities with non-marginalized parents and families - Foster communication and joint performances of kids from marginalized and non-marginalized kids. Arrangement of events. We expect to achieve the following: - early integration and equal access to education for all kids, which will lead to a better quality of pre-school education in the municipality of Tryavna, particularly in Svetlina Kindergarten; - providing access to quality education for kids living in the surrounding villages; - involving parents in the educational process of the kindergarten and helping them appreciate their role and responsibility in this process. This project will be an innovative approach to the problems of the marginalized families for both the kindergarten and the Municipality.
