"With hope for a better future”

The project “With hope for a better future” is developed by secondary school “st. Paisii Hilendarski” - Skalitsa, in collaboration with “Hristo Botev”- Botevo and “st. St. Kiril amp; Metodii”-Boyadzhik primary schools. The project aims to combine the resources and needs of the three schools with the main goal to encourage the students, thus bettering their accessibility to a qualitative educational environment and to accent and better their choice in future professional education. The activities that will be included in the project are related to motivating the students in their middle and high school levels of education and to reduce the number of school dropouts. They include: - Selection and hiring of additional specialists – Ed. Mediator, psychologist, speech therapist, ed. Activities specialist, administrative activities expert and resource teachers; - Enhancing the material living environment in school by including “Student recess” spaces, additional work in “Student Hobby” workshops, “Summer school” and events aimed to develop students’ social skills in an unusual environment and improve them; - Working with Parents and Guardians in “Mobile parent school “; Annual “Together” events for parents, students and teachers with the goal, of creating a positive attitude towards education and improving its understanding in the community, in mind; - Enhancing professional education by holding campaigns, supplying textbooks, manuals and didactic materials; improving the material base in Middle School by establishing interactive office; -Holding a training for teachers to work with students from minorities, using individual methods of teaching and expanding on different strategies to work up the motivation in students, reducing absences and bettering their achievements in school.
