"EDUCATION FOR CULTURAL DIVERSITY"

The project proposal is aimed at addressing the need to adapt the pedagogical and management personnel in 19 educational institutions from mostly small settlements or compact communities, in accordance with the realities of the modern multicultural society. The target groups of the project are 327 professionals, of which 308 are pedagogical specialists and 19 are educational mediators. The main goal of the project is to improve the professional skills of 308 pedagogical specialists and 19 educational mediators from 19 educational institutions based in small settlements or compact communities in four districts to work in a multicultural environment and to transmit knowledge and skills to children and students to encourage ethnocultural diversity. Expected results from the project: - 19 developed or updated strategic documents of the partners for educational integration of children and students from ethnic minorities with emphasis on the capacity of pedagogical specialists and specialized educational mediators; - Developed and tested system for monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the strategic documents; - 308 pedagogical specialists and 19 educational mediators involved in training for work in a multicultural environment; - 308 pedagogical specialized qualified for work in a multicultural environment. The main activities of the project are: - "Development and updating of strategies, plans, programs, analyzes, recommendations, current profiles, etc. in educational institutions for work in a multicultural environment, and the respectively identified needs"; - "Providing short-term training to teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists for work in a multicultural educational environment, with acquisition of qualification credits"; - "Providing short-term training to teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists for work in a multicultural educational environment, without acquisition of qualification credits"
