"MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION - THE KEY TO A SUCCESSFUL EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN MODERN SOCIETY"

The project meets the needs of principals and pedagogical staff in 8 educational institutions in the country of improving the qualification, knowledge and skills necessary for successful realization of the educational process in a multicultural environment. Target groups are 211 principals and pedagogical specialists and 12 educational mediators, representatives of the partners. The main goal of the project is to improve the professional qualification and competencies of the representatives of the target groups to convey knowledge and develop skills in children and students to promote ethnocultural diversity. The project will achieve the following results: - Developed or updated policies (strategies, plans) of partner educational institutions for integration of children from ethnic minorities and promotion of diversity, with a focus on planning activities to improve the skills and abilities of staff; - 211 pedagogical specialists and 12 educational mediators will be trained to work in a multicultural environment; - 211 pedagogical specialists will increase their professional qualification in this field and will acquire the respective qualification credits. The results will be achieved through the implementation of the following activities: Activity 1 - "Development and updating of strategies, plans, programs, analyzes, recommendations, competence profiles, etc. of the educational institution for work in a multicultural environment, according to the identified needs"; Activity 2 - "Conducting short-term trainings for teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists for work in a multicultural educational environment, with the award of qualification credits"; Activity 3 - "Conducting short-term trainings for teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists for work in a multicultural educational environment, without the award of qualification credits"
