Increasing the capacity of pedagogical specialists from Vidin District and Montana District to work in a multicultural environment

The project "Increasing the capacity of pedagogical specialists from Vidin District and Montana District to work in a multicultural environment" aims to increase the professional competencies of teachers, principals and other pedagogical specialists to work in a multicultural environment. The project envisages conducting a study to identify the needs of schools and kindergartens, project partners to improve the work in a multicultural environment and preparing analysis and specific recommendations to schools and kindergartens - partners in the project and developing an analysis with specific recommendations for institutions partners. The project envisages a training cycle for 140 specialists, which includes training for work in a multicultural environment for teachers, principals, educational mediators from 7 educational institutions in the districts of Vidin and Montana. Two of the planned trainings end with the award of 3 qualification credits on topics for work in a multicultural environment. The project provides an opportunity for both principals and educational mediators and teachers to increase their professional competencies and to acquire and teach knowledge and develop skills in children and students to perceive ethnocultural differences.
