Support for inclusive education

The project aims to ensure higher quality and better access to education for children and students with special educational needs, with chronic diseases, at risk and with outstanding gifts in the system of preschool and school education by providing additional support for personal development, which provides an appropriate physical, psychological and social environment for the development of their abilities and skills, in accordance with the regulatory requirements and policies for education reform. To select 220 kindergartens and 430 schools that will be included in the project, the MES has developed a mechanism that includes objective requirements for the selection of kindergartens, schools to basic education. Kindergartens and schools that will be included in the project will be approved by ordinance of the Minister of Education and Science. For the purposes of the project implementation, the specific beneficiary will update an information system for management and reporting under the project "Active inclusion in the preschool education system". In order to minimize the risk of duplication of activities, costs and inclusion of the same persons from the target groups in identical activities, funded simultaneously under different projects, a demarcation will be carried out with the following projects: BG051OP001-4.1.07 "Inclusive training" under the OP "Human Resources Development" 2007-2013; BG05M2OP001-3.003 "Ensuring conditions and resources for creation and development of a supportive environment in kindergartens and schools, in order to provide inclusive training-Phase 1" under OP "Science and education for smart growth operational programme"; BG05M2OP001-3.005 "Active inclusion in the system of pre-school education" under OP "Science and education for smart growth operational programme"; BG05M2OP001-2.010 "Qualification for professional development of pedagogical specialists" under OP "Science and education for smart growth operational programme".
