Education for a better tomorrow

The project compensates the low involvement of students and vulnerable groups in higher education in Bulgaria.It will be implemented in Ruse, Razgrad and Silistra districts.Target groups: -Students from vulnerable groups from the second stage of education from socially disadvantaged families;Their parents;Persons and young people from vulnerable groups with completed secondary education,without higher education,from socially disadvantaged families;Educational mediators/assistant teacher with completed secondary education,without higher education education,students The main goal is to improve access to higher education and social integration of vulnerable groups. Activities and results: 1.Identification and motivation of the representatives of the target groups for completing secondary education and continuing in higher education,incl.work with their parents-177 and their Parents-80. 2.Additional trainings for students from vulnerable groups from the second high school stage, in order to successfully pass state matriculation exams and apply to higher education-students from vulnerable groups,supported under Activity 2,successfully passed DZI-42; 3.Support for refreshing knowledge and updating the competencies of persons and young people from vulnerable groups with completed secondary education for the purposes of their application to HEIs and young people from vulnerable groups with secondary,no higher education, supported under Activity 3,applicants in high school and enrolled in the first year-30. 4.Support for the training of students from vulnerable groups in the first year - suported students-72. 5.Support for professional development of educational mediators/assistant teacher with completed secondary education-supported and applicants to VU-11. 83 people from vulnerable groups will continue their education at the university after the support of the project. In all activities we will apply the horizontal principles.
