The project builds on the implemented project "New Chance for Success", funded by the Operational Program "Human Resources Development" (2007 - 2013). The main activity of the project is to facilitate further access to general education and vocational training and, accordingly, to labour market participation. The project contributes to achieving the objectives of the Operational Program "Science and Education for Smart Growth" and Priority Axis 3 "Educational environment for active social inclusion". The project activities will create conditions for the development of the lifelong learning system and will have a positive effect on the future professional realization of the students. The activities set in the project are aimed at building a system of knowledge and skills necessary both for continuing education and for subsequent inclusion in training to acquire qualifications in certain professions. The main activity will be related to the organizational and methodological support of the training process. The activities in the project are related to organizing and conducting literacy courses and courses for acquiring competencies from the junior high school stage, as well as providing opportunities for organizing distance learning. Mastering modern key competencies is a chance for illiterate people to get out of a risk group on the labour market. The objectives of the project will also be achieved by certifying the successful completion of training, by promoting the need to increase and promote literacy and by drawing public attention to the benefits of literacy, which will contribute to addressing the social challenges arising from global economic processes.
