„CHANGE YOUR LIFE THROUGH EDUCATION“

The project meets the needs to compensate for the effect of early school leaving of vulnerable groups from the municipality of Vidin and the town of Dunavtsi, thus reducing their social isolation and poverty. Target groups of the project are persons over 16 years of age from the municipality of Vidin, mainly from Dunavtsi: without completed classes from the primary and/ or junior high school stage; illiterate or poorly literate persons; persons dropped out of the education system; unemployed persons. The main goal of the project is to support vulnerable groups from the municipality of Vidin and the town of Dunavtsi for social inclusion by providing access to education and training for better realization on the labor market. Expected results: - 215 persons identified for participation in the project; - 13 courses for literacy and acquisition of competencies from the lower secondary stage of primary education; - 32 persons who have completed the initial stage of primary education; - 81 persons who have completed primary education; - 14 persons validated the results of non-formal learning; - 47 persons continued in the first high school stage of secondary education, in vocational training and started/ remained at work within six months after the end of participating in the project activities. Main activities: - Reintegration in the educational system of persons over 16 years of age, dropped out of school and/ or without primary education, through educational mediation activities; - Literacy courses and courses for acquiring competencies from the lower secondary stage of primary education for persons over 16 years of age; - Validation of non-formal learning and training outcomes by assessing and recognizing the correspondence between competences acquired through non-formal learning and the requirements for completing a grade, stage or level of primary education; - Supporting the transition from education to realization on the labor market.
