New opportunity for education and professional qualification

The project "New opportunity for education and professional qualification" shall continue the objectives on already implemented projects "New chance for success" 2007-2013 and "Literacy of adults - phase 1" - "New chance for success" 2015 -2020 in which PGME participates . The main activity of this project is to enable further access to general education and vocational training and, accordingly, to the participation in the labor market of persons from vulnerable groups who have dropped out of education or have not participated in the education system at all. The experience gained by the school in the implementation of these projects gives us the confidence to continue working in the same direction. The project activities will create conditions for the development of the lifelong learning system by including illiterate and illiterate people in the education system. After acquiring and certifying the knowledge for a class or degree of education, the same will be included in trainings for acquiring professional qualification, which is a precondition for the future professional realization of the trainees. Some of the students will be motivated to continue their education to acquire secondary education and second or third degree of professional qualification, which in turn will have a positive impact on their social status. The activities set in the project are aimed at the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary both for continuing education and for subsequent inclusion in training to acquire qualifications in certain professions. They will be organized and conducted in literacy courses and courses for acquiring competencies from the junior high school stage. The goals of the project will be achieved by certifying the successfully completed training, by promoting the need to increase and promote literacy and by drawing public attention to the benefits of literacy, which will contribute to addressing social challenges.
