Motivation for education in Lukovit

The project proposal of Lukovit Municipality introduces the formation of a brass band and a cheerleading composition at the National Chitalishte "Suznanie-1895" with students from all the schools in Lukovit. A Drama Theatre Club will be formed at the Vocational School of Agriculture “S. Rumyantsev" and clubs "The World Around" for primary school students at the high school "Aleko Konstantinov" and the primary school "Eng. Valkov" in Lukovit. Musical instruments and costumes will be provided for the members of the band, and costumes and equipment for the cheerleading composition members. The groups in "The World Around" clubs will work with students at an early stage to form new environmental behavioural patterns. All the project participants will take part in the "Earth Day" happening in the city canter, forming a student green area with planting flowers, grown by themselves with the help of their parents and teachers. The band, the cheerleading team and the Theatre club will take part in the city and municipal traditional cultural events. The leaders of the clubs are experienced experts - conductor, wind and percussion experts, an expert in cheerleading, an expert in general physical training, a teacher with experience in theatre groups, teachers in "The World Around" clubs. The cheerleaders, band and theatre clubs members, together with their leaders will attend two Summer and one Spring Art Academies during the school breaks. The project offers activities that are attractive for the participants this will motivate them to stay in the educational system as long as possible, reducing the dropout and improving school performance.
