Together, for creating youth employment and sustainable working environment in Vidin Municipality

Vidin Municipality in partnership with the Vocational Training Centre „Eco Globe“ Ltd. and Correct Consulting Group Ltd. developed this project proposal in accordance with the Guidelines for Applicants Procedure BG05M9OP001-1.002 „ACTIVE" Operational Program "Human Resources Development 2014-2020“. The project is aimed at identifying, activating and inclusion in employment of 50 young people from 18 to 29 years of age, who are not in education and employment, including not registered as unemployed in the Employment Agency. The planned project activities will be implemented in Vidin Municipality, Bulgaria. Within this project, the municipality of Vidin, together with its partners, will identify within the relevant target group, persons, who later will be supported for active behavior on the labor market, improving and/or acquiring professional qualification in connection with inclusion in employment. To establish a specific target group Vidin Municipality and partners will apply a specially developed methodology. In addition, information campaigns / meetings and motivational training for young people will be organized. Through these events, young people will acquire skills of active behavior on the labor market. Taking into consideration the particular need for skilled professionals in the structure of Vidin Municipality, which is the largest employer in the region and also the specifics of the labor market, the project provides training for acquiring professional qualification in several different roles, depending on the individuals’ personal desire namely: "Travel Agent", "Assistant road builder" and "Chef". In consequence, inclusion in employment to the structure of Vidin Municipality will be offered to trainees. With a view to future competitiveness and resilience of the labor market for persons identified, English language training will be provided.
