Young people in the Municipality of Svishtov - active participants in the local labor market

Project "Young people in the Municipality of Svishtov - active participants in the local labor market" will be implemented in Svishtov Municipality. The main objective of the project is to contribute to activation and integration into employment of young people from the municipality up to 29 years inclusive, who are neither in education or training process nor in employment and are not registered as unemployed at the Directorate "Labour Bureau". The project starts with identification of 60 persons from the target group. Identified young people will be included in a 5-day motivational training that will help them to choose from the activating opportunities offered by the project - return to the education system, registration at the Directorate "Labour Bureau", inclusion in training on job opportunities and subsequent employment. Young people will have the opportunity to participate in one of the following courses for acquiring professional qualification - "Ecology", "Security guard", "Organizers of sporting events and festivals" and "Office - Secretary". Persons who will be trained in profession "Office Secretary" will pass 45 hours training on key competence "Digital competence" to improve their Internet using skills, which are necessary for the successful execution of their employment. During the training young people will receive scholarship for each working day. After concluding the training participants will sit for an examination and those who pass it successfully will receive a certificate of vocational training. 54 young people who have successfully completed vocational training will be appointed on a labor contract for six months in the acquired qualification. As a result of the planned project activities at least 54 young people will acquire professional qualifications and work experience. Another key result of the project is the built motivation for active behavior on the labor market of the trained young persons.
