I am Active

The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of economically inactive young people, up to the age of 29, through "activation" and integration. It will be achieved through the realization of these sub goals: adequate training and opportunities for everyone to get a qualified job. The steps to be followed while achieving the goals are: providing mechanisms for investing in young people as an important socal factor and actively engaging them with their full potential in developing Bulgaria and EU. As a result of the project realization inactive young people will be identified and motivated. Their active behaviour at the labour market will be stimulated through target group selection. The project activities are expected to ease the transition from education to professional life, provide first or new work opportunities and professional skills and qualifications acquisition or facilitate further education. The following actions are planned to achieve the goals: identifying and motivating 60 young people from Shumen, not registered in the local unemployment office. 48 of these young people (75%of all participants) will be included in training activities, at the end of which the they will acquire a salesman "certificate": a salesperson (39pariticpants) - II level of professional qualification and office -assistant (9 participants) - II level of professional qualification. After finishing the training for salesperson each of these 39 participants will be employed by our project partner "Tranchev" Ltd for 4 months. For the participants trained for "office assistants" no employment is arranged. The remaining 25% of all project participants (12 people) will be directed and supported either to register at the unemployment office or to reenter education. During the entire duration, namely 21 months, the project will be managed by a team of two people: the project manager and the accountant. Promotional activities will be held to inform the public.
