Active - rights with long-term effects

The World crisis of the early 21st century has disturbed all sectors and affected the fate and life chances of many. Its consequences reflected painfully on young people as they faced new challenges, including increased risk of dropping out of school, long-term unemployment, marginalization and social exclusion. More and more young people are not engaged in education, employment and training and are defined NEET (Not in Employment, Education and Training). Young people aged 15-29 years were among the most vulnerable groups, affected by the negative trends on the labour market in both the country as a whole and individual municipalities. The problem identification and activation for inclusion in employment of economically inactive young people up to the age of 29, is especially relevant for small towns with concentrated populations of ethnic minorities in the municipalities of Ruse, Tsar Kaloyan, and Kubrat, where unemployment reaches 36%. The main objective of the project is to support the activation and labour integration of identified people under 29 years old who are neither in education or training nor in employment. To achieve the objectives will be achieved: 1) Identification and activation of inactive youths of up to 29 years of age.; 2) Motivation training for active job search; 3) Training for vocational qualifications; 4) Provision of subsidized employment. The main project activities are aimed at economically inactive young people under 29 years of small settlements in the municipalities of Ruse, Tsar Kaloyan, and Kubrat, with concentrated populations of ethnic minorities. The project brings together organizations from the industry and the civil sector, engaged with the problem of youth unemployment.
