Fairy-tale work

Basay Ltd. is the company that established and operate the famous amusement park "The Fairy-tale" near the town of Vratsa. Through the implementation of the present project proposal the company seeks to not only diversify the various services and attractions offered in the park but also to create 13 new and sustainable workplaces for unemployed and/or inactive persons in one of the poorest regions not only in Bulgaria but also throughout the European Union. This will be accomplished via a set of activities within the project. The selection of the people who will be employed will be implemented in close cooperation with the regional branches of the National Employment Agency as well as local authorities and vocational schools from Vratsa and the region in regard to identifying and involvement of potential job applicants who are currently inactive on the labour market. The selected persons will be provided with employment up to 12 month in accordance with the provisions of the current Call for proposals where permanent employment in the company will be secured for more than 50 % of them. The Applicant aims more than 50 % of the newly employed to be young people aged up to 29 years. The intention of Basay Ltd. is to provide permanent employment to all new personnel given that the results and the quality of their work meet company's requirements. In order to ensure the quality of the new workplaces modern equipment will be provided corresponding to the positions on which the persons will be placed. In addition foreign language training will also be provided for part of the new personnel. The Applicant expects a lasting effect on the target group and in regard to the overall activity of the company following the implementation of the project activities. The company will provide opportunity for employment to persons who are motivated to work and accept the challenge to work in a branch which is new for the region but with perspective for future development.
