New jobs for kitchen and catering

The Candidate Joe Catering Ltd prepares and delivers food to school canteens and offers industrial and event catering. The activity is continually evolving and increasing in volume. To maintain high quality services, the firm plans to expand its kitchen premises and improve business. The objective of this project is hiring new staff and creating quality jobs in order to provide human resources for the purpose. It is expected to recruit 26 unemployed and/or inactive people, representatives of the project target groups, most of them with no special training. We plan to hire mainly unemployed young people under 29 years and unemployed people over 54 years. We want to give the first group the opportunity to start work and to develop themselves, and the second group - to have a job, income and length of service for retirement. Some of the jobs do not require special qualifications, and this gives a chance for vulnerable low-skilled unemployed people to obtain employment, income and insurance. The Payroll Employment are hired for up to 12 months and have the opportunity to continue to work afterwards. The company will buy work clothing and personal protective equipment for them, and will provide services of Occupational Medicine to protect their health and life in the workplace and for legal compliance. The new employees’ work space will be equipped according needs and requirements to perform their job duties. All these steps will improve the quality of the new jobs. The project will be managed by an external contractor with the necessary experience and capacity. The project will be given publicity. The unemployed people hired under the project will be able to gain experience, work habits and skills during its implementation, which is a precondition for their further sustainable employment and the sustainability of the jobs. The implementation of the project will contribute to achieve its goals and the objectives and priorities of the operational program.
