NEW AND SUSTAINABLE WORKPLACES FOR UNEMPLOYED AND INACTIVE PERSONS AT CIELA NORMA AD

Ciela Norma AD is a legal successor of Ciela Soft and Publishing AD following the takeover of Norma AD by Ciela Soft and Publishing AD (by a transformation agreement as of 16.02.2011). Ciela was established in January 1991 as a business consulting company and a major publishing house for leading legal publications which already has 24 years of history. The company is now established as one of the major publishers and developers of information systems in the field of law and business. The company operates in several key areas: 1. Creation and distribution of legal information systems; 2. Publishing and distribution of legal, economic and specialized literature, fiction and other popular literature; 3. Commercial activity mainly in the field of trade in books, and 4. Printing activities. For the purpose of integration of unemployed and/or inactive in the labor market, Ciela Norma AD decided to set up 6 new workplaces. The priority target group for the project is made up of unemployed young people up to 29 years of age. The main reasons for unemployment among young people is lack of vacancies suitable for their educational and qualifications levels, lack of qualifications, skills or work experience, etc. In order to overcome this challenge, this project provides an opportunity to improve access to employment and quality of jobs for the target group through a series of measures such as recruitment of unemployed and/or inactive persons, providing training for professional qualifications and key competences, as well as equipment for the workplaces.
