Qualification and Employment

Dzhevner-Nermin Selim ET was established in 1990 and since then the company operates in clothes manufacturing. The workshop of the company is located in Smirnenski Village, Vetovo Municipality, Russe District. The municipality has record level of unemployment for many years, most of the unemployed are older than 30 years and they have 8th grade or lower education level. At least 7 (53,85%) of the people included in the project, who are part of the target group, are going to be from the following specific category – unemployed with low education level (below ISCED 3). By this project proposal Dzhevner-Nermin Selim ET wishes to create 13 sustainable jobs for unemployed and inactive people from Vetovo Municipality. The following jobs will be created – ten jobs for sewing machine operators, one for ironer, one for supplier and one for clothing technologist. For all sewing machine operations professional training for second qualification level for the profession is planned. For the sewing machine operators and the ironer equipment will be purchased as well (the equipment is needed for their work). The 13 representatives of the target group will be identified with the cooperation of the Labour Bureau Directorate in Vetovo. They will be employed by the candidate for a period of 12 months. 10 of them will be trained and for 11 of the new work places equipment will be purchased (automatic sewing machines, overlock sewing machines and a professional steam iron). The candidate has declared that at least 7 of the new work places will be preserved for a minimum 12 months after the completion of the project. The project plans for an activity for organization and management and an activity for information and publicity. In all activities specific measures are planned for the implementation of the principles of equal opportunity, lack of discrimination, gender equality and sustainable development.
